I've never done one of these year-end round-up posts, but decided to whip one up for this year. This was a year of only a few, but memorable shoots!

After 9 months of work on it, I'm proud to present my first cosplay book. 

This is a book which follow my progress as a cosplay photographer. It includes photoshoots from 2010 all the way to 2015. I created it as a combination of both a documentary and guide.

Comiket is my first non-North American convention. As I haven’t been and likely won’t be attending any NA cons for a while, conventions in Japan will have to substitute. Comiket proved to be entertaining!

In early May during Golden week, I finally —for what feels like an eternity— toured Tokyo!

It was a dream come true! I did and visited so many of the things and places I wanted and more!

At the beginning of April this year I visited Osaka and Kyoto respectively for the first time. Respectively meaning in the order that I put them in, so first Osaka, then Kyoto. Though it was a short trip, lasting only about 3 days/4 nights, I managed to see a lot of great places with my GF Alex and our friend Chantal. This was a trip we had been planning for over a year!

It has unfortunately taken me sometime to go through, edit and post this article and the many photos in it. I went to Japan (Miyazaki prefecture mainly) back in November for about 10 days to visit my girlfriend Alex.

Not to be outdone by last year’s winter storm mayhem, Mother Nature threw us some very strong winds for this year’s Katsucon. Despite nearly being turned into a frozen human-kite without a string, I did go outside a few times to get food and do some photoshoots.

I hope everyone had a great Holiday season and hope that you didn't gain an extra 44lbs from all those holiday meals. Go ahead, eat that leftover turkey. Its getting cold.

Youmacon is the closest (in Detroit) US con I attend, its so close I still get my Canadian cellular reception! 

NYCC is one of the largest conventions in North America, this year was no exception and offered a ton of attractions and had something for the fanboy of every type.

Just realizing last night, NYCC is one month away! I'm ready for another con full of American (& some CAN) cosplayers, as well as seeing some interesting booths at NYCC. Photoshoot details below!

Otakuthon is an anime convention that takes place at the Palais de Congres in the Canadian city of Montreal. This year I had the pleasure of having a nice quiet drive up to the con by myself and my playlist.
